MSc Student

Amanda completed her Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a focus on human geography at the University of Ottawa. She has a strong interest in cities and exploring how sustainable transportation infrastructure contributes to healthy and liveable communities. She loves to explore on her bike or on foot and discover the hidden gems you wouldn’t find on a map!

She is currently pursuing her MSc in Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University (SFU). Her thesis research is exploring the integration of micromobility with public transit, specifically policies for and user experiences travelling with micromobility on public transit (e.g., using bike racks on buses, bringing a scooter on a train).

Outside of her studies, Amanda enjoys being active and spending time outside, especially biking, hiking and camping!
