ESCALATE

ESsential conditions for CAnadian Leisure and Active Transportation Effectiveness (ESCALATE) is a national implementation science project aimed at understanding the contexts and features of urban cycling infrastructure that contribute to their success in promoting active transportation behaviours (learn more about the project here). In partnership with city planners, researchers, and community organizations, ESCALATE is studying urban trails in eight cities across Canada, including the Capital Regional District, Edmonton, Brandon, Winnipeg, Selkirk, Mississauga, Quebec City, and Sherbrooke.

CHATR lab is evaluating user perceptions of the Regional Trails in the Capital Regional District (BC).
